FAQs
design
Each design project is unique and therefore has individualized costs. For most projects, you can expect a design fee, hourly fees and purchase of goods. Renew Home does our best to give our clients a full cost outlook of each item and service, but additional costs such as storage, shipping, installation, or unexpected labor do occasionally happen.
Renew Home does work with the contractors hired by the client. We love collaborating with other design professionals to create your custom space. Renew Home does not provide contractor services, so independent architects and contractors hired by the client are an integral part of the process.
Renew Home is happy to work with you to increase the scope of your project, and we are glad you enjoy working with us. Please reach out to your designer to review the new scope, budget, and contract amendments.
Renew Home has very skilled designers who can meet your where you are. To get the most out of your design experience with us, we recommend having a budget in mind before starting the project and communicating that with your designer. This allows your project to run smoothly and for your expectations to be met.
Staging
Home staging is the process of preparing and styling a home to make it more appealing to potential buyers. The goal is to help buyers envision themselves living in the space, which can lead to increased interest, a quicker sale, and potentially stronger offers.
Staging your home before selling can help it stand out in a competitive market by showcasing its best features and creating a welcoming first impression. While every sale is unique and no outcome is guaranteed, many real estate professionals find that a well-presented home attracts more buyer interest and can contribute to a faster sale.
Every home is different, but our staging process is simple and designed to make selling your home as seamless as possible. We begin with a consultation to assess your home and determine the best staging approach, then provide a proposal and schedule your installation. On staging day, our team thoughtfully arranges furniture, artwork, rugs, and decor to highlight your home's best features and create a warm, inviting atmosphere. Once your home is under contract or no longer needs staging, we'll coordinate a convenient time to remove everything.
