Six years ago Laneé Miller, an expert in real estate and home rehab, staged her own flip houses so that they would sell for more. A few agents she knew reached out asking her to stage their listings, which led her to an idea about fulfilling a need in the rapidly growing Utah real estate market: home staging. Starting with a horse trailer and a garage full of her own furniture, Renew Home Staging & Design was born! Years later the #RenewCrew have been staging downtown urban condos, multimillion-dollar homes, and have even been featured in various Parades and Showcases. Renew Home now has one of the largest warehouses for staging and design in Salt Lake and an incredibly versatile inventory of furnishings and décor.

Meet The Team
Laneé Miller | Founder
Laneé began her career working as a dental hygienist but couldn’t ignore her own untapped creativity that needed an outlet. Inspired by a childhood of watching her school teacher father supplement the family income by rehabbing houses, she combined her interest in real estate and interior design and began investing in properties to renovate and sell at a profit.
A self-described entrepreneurial late bloomer and tenacious-to-a-fault lifelong learner, Laneé quickly realized that the properties she was renovating would sell for more if she brought in furniture and accessories to enhance the space. With just a horse trailer and a garage full of her own furniture, Renew Home Staging & Design was born. She soon began partnering with local real estate agents and builders to stage their listings, helping them to create an emotional connection that potential buyers could feel as soon as they entered the property.
A licensed real estate agent with a unique combination of business savvy, in-depth industry knowledge, and an impeccable design aesthetic, Laneé prides herself on never backing down from a challenge. As a result, she has built a rapidly growing business that has become about more than just houses. Laneé is passionate about caring for people by creating spaces filled with not only beautiful furnishings but an undeniable positive energy, as well.
In her spare time, Laneé has taught real estate investor classes and a real estate staging continuing education course. She also enjoys traveling, including at least one couple’s motorcycle trip every year, and staying active hiking, trail running, snowshoeing, and skiing. Based in Pleasant Grove, Utah, Laneé is married to a professional guitarist and has eight children.
Tomasi Ngatuvai | Director of Home Staging
Tomasi started his career in customer service & sales, but his natural love of design, styling, and shopping led him to make the move to Renew Home- a company and role that allows him to use both his analytical and creative skills to their full capacity.
As Director of Home Staging, Tomasi is responsible for every aspect of a project, from space planning, sourcing, and execution to client interactions, team leadership, and budget management. Passionate about exceeding customer expectations and empowering others, Tomasi is motivated by spreading happiness through beautiful spaces. The instant gratification of upgrading a space, as well as the satisfaction of the homeowners he works with, are what fuel him from one project to the next.
Known for his endlessly positive outlook, Tomasi leads both his team and clients by example. He fully embodies Renew’s core values of fun, unwavering integrity, collaboration, and resourcefulness. Together with his #RenewCrew, Tomasi has staged a wide variety of projects from downtown urban condominiums to multimillion-dollar Parade of Homes properties in Salt Lake and St. George. He is a member of the Real Estate Staging Association (RESA), as well as the International Association of Home Staging Professionals.
Outside of work, Tomasi loves to spend time with family and friends, shop, and travel.
Ashlyn GIlbert | Interior Design Manager
Ashlyn's journey in interior design took a unique path, beginning with her studies in broadcast journalism and communications. Her natural talent for storytelling and connecting with others led her to explore the world of design, where she discovered a passion for transforming spaces.
After further design studies, she flourished as a project manager for a prestigious design studio, where she developed her eye for detail and mastery of project execution. Following a cherished two-year chapter at home with her young son, Ashlyn joined the Renew team, where she channels her diverse experience into creating thoughtfully designed spaces for each client.
Drawing from this multifaceted background, Ashlyn approaches each project with the understanding that successful design is both an art and a science. She finds great satisfaction in expressing her natural talent of creativity with meticulous project coordination, ensuring that every design tells a unique story while being executed seamlessly from concept to completion.
When she's not crafting the perfect color palette or daydreaming about textures and scale, you can find Ashlyn embracing her roles as a mother and wife, traveling with her young family, or unwinding to an episode of her all time favorite show, Survivor. For Ashlyn, true design success means creating spaces for families and individuals that truly reflect who they are, telling that story within the walls of their homes, and elevating their everyday lives.
Sofia Rasmussen | Staging Manager
Before Sofia got started in staging, she loved being a barista and connecting with her regular customers. Sofia has carried her love of people into her design work, gravitating to what called her: working with clients to decorate and complete their homes.
Moving from a national home retail store, she left her legacy as a top salesperson on a whim, knowing her passion was to be in the home decorating and continuing to foster relationships with clients. Renew Home was searching for a new staging assistant; the timing was kismet! Sofia's talents couldn't be hidden and she quickly moved through the ranks, excelling from Staging Assistant to Staging Lead, Inventory Supervisor and now Staging Manager.
As Renew's Staging Manager, Sofia exemplifies the company's core values and passes them along to her beloved #RenewCrew. Always having fun and laughing, Sofia encourages others to be their best and lean into their own talents. Along with her superior styling skills, managing the team is one of her best abilities.
Outside of work, Sofia enjoys being surrounded by her loving husband and two dogs, as they eagerly await the arrival of their baby. Her love of relationships leads her to spend time visiting with family in Delta, Utah, and as far as Tennessee and Illinois, where she was raised. Some of Sofia's favorite pastimes include camping, water sports and hanging out at home playing board games.
